In June 2022 the House of Lords Justice and Home Affairs Committee said that A review of the Life in the UK Test is urgent and an end date for its completion should be set by the Government immediately.
Although the UK government government agreed to carry out such a review and produce a new UK citizenship test there remains no timetable.
So, for now, it is still a waiting game. The published guides remain current and we await to see what sort of test will be conjoured to replace it.
