All who need to meet the Knowledge of Language and Life (KOL) in the UK requirement for ‘ UK settlement’ or ‘British Citizenship’ now have access to a completely up to date study guide ‘The Life in the UK Test Handbook: for tests from July 2011’ to help them. Passing the Life in the UK test is currently the most straightforward way of meeting the KOL requirement for UK settlement. Even at £50 a shot (since June 2011) for each time the the test is taken the Life in the UK Test is still the cheapest route.
